About You

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong knowledge of PHP, Node.js, MVC frameworks, and Front-End frameworks. As a Full Stack Developer with Dealer Venom, you will help design, develop and manage user-centric products for our internal team, our clients, and external users. This role is crucial to releasing high-quality software and UI components to our existing products and new product development. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who has a strong desire to continually simplify and optimize the development experience and make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Develop well-archetyped, responsive, and performant web apps.

• Understand and implement technologies across the full stack.

• Assist with general platform maintenance and development.

• Automate manual processes such as performance benchmarking, or docker deployments.

• Deploy, manage, and debug Docker containers on GKE.

• Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools, and technologies.

• Increase efficiency, and reduce waste wherever and whenever possible. ‘

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in web application development (PHP, TypeScript preferred).

• 4+ years of Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP&D), Object Relational Mapping (ORM) experience.

• 2+ years of experience in frontend development using tools such as React, Vue, or Angular.

• 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud and its products.

• Proficiency with WordPress development.

• Technical experience with Linux , nginx, and memcached is a huge plus.

• Experience with Git as well as related tools (Sourcetree, GitHub, Bitbucket).

• Experience with project management/self-organization using Jira tools
